Established in 1989, the Powerblades Dragon Boat Racing club is one of the longest running Dragon Boat Clubs in Australia, . The club has had considerable success in competitions locally, nationally and internationally. 

The club has been South Australian State Champions in a range of categories on many occasions since our first success in 1991.

The Powerblades Dragon Boat Racing Club has competed successfully in every mainland capital city and in various international venues in Malaysia, China and Hong Kong. Powerblades have representation in the State Team Most seasons with one of our members selected as Team Captain in Season 2018/19. Its members have represented Australia in international world championships both in Club colours and as part of the National Team, the Auroras.

The Powerblades have a strong ethos of competing at the highest levels of the sport. We train and race to win every race we enter. Concurrently, the Club aims to provide an avenue for members to find enjoyment, fun, excitement and achievement as they participate and challenge themselves in this dynamic sport.
